Job Description

The Senior Sales Development Representative will proactively identify and engage construction teams to showcase Laminar's software solutions, set up demos, and build relationships to drive sales growth. The role involves refining outreach strategies, collaborating with teams, and helping scale the company's sales efforts across markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and reach out to construction teams to introduce Laminar's platform and set up demos.
  • Continuously improve outreach strategies using data and insights, experimenting with messaging and channels.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align efforts and share feedback.
  • Develop and refine sales skills, share best practices, and contribute to building a scalable growth process.
  • Build and optimize outreach processes and systems to support scaling efforts across US and UK markets.

Requirements

  • Experience in B2B sales, ideally in SaaS, construction tech, or digital solutions, with the ability to engage decision-makers and guide them through a sales process.
  • Confident and engaging communication skills, capable of making complex ideas simple and compelling, and comfortable talking to both hands-on construction teams and senior business leaders.
  • Ability to take ownership, unafraid of rejection, and enjoy experimenting with new ways to connect and add value.
  • Ability to read between the lines, spot opportunities, and adapt outreach approaches based on what is working, with a focus on opening doors and building relationships.
  • Mastery experience in cold calling and proactive outreach to identify and connect with construction teams.
  • Ability to refine outreach strategies using data and insights, experimenting with messaging, channels, and engagement tactics to maximize impact.
  • Experience working closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align efforts and share feedback.
  • Willingness to grow industry knowledge and sales skills, with a commitment to continuous learning and development.
  • Experience in building outreach processes and systems to help scale sales development efforts.
  • Demonstrated ownership and initiative in sales activities, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with various departments to achieve common goals.
  • Physical and mental resilience to handle rejection and maintain motivation in a high-energy sales environment.
