Job Description
The Senior Pack Modeling Scientist is responsible for developing and deploying battery pack algorithms, analyzing battery data, and designing battery management systems to optimize battery performance and safety, primarily through cloud-based digital twin models and AI-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, process, and analyze battery pack data
- Design, develop, verify, and deliver battery cloud platform algorithms
- Develop cell algorithms and migrate them to battery pack algorithms
- Design battery pack configurations based on model requirements
- Participate in BMS design and develop the overall framework for battery algorithm deployment
- Supervise battery pack testing and verify algorithms with limited resources
- Deploy and manage digital twin models of battery packs in the cloud
Requirements
- More than five years of battery related work experience, familiar with battery pack design, testing and data
- Familiar with various battery related models algorithms
- Experience in battery management system BMS algorithm development including SOC, SOH, SOP, SOE, fault detection, etc.
- Practical experience based on AI, big data battery algorithm, and cloud BMS
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments
