The Mechanical Engineer will design, analyze, and optimize power battery pack systems and modules, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance through detailed digital modeling, testing, and continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and evaluate power battery cell selection, structural materials, and product design schemes based on customer requirements.
Design schematic, detailed 3D digital models, and 2D drawings of power battery PACK systems and modules.
Ensure safety and reliability in the design of battery systems and modules.
Identify and address issues found during trial production, mass production, and user feedback, providing improvement suggestions.
Manage sample creation, processing progress, and confirmation.
Test and verify battery pack systems and components, optimizing designs according to regulations and customer needs.
Prepare design specifications and patents.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in electrochemistry, Vehicle engineering, Mechatronics, polymer materials, Electrical engineering, automation, or related fields
More than 3 years of experience in power battery PACK structure design
Experience in product GD drawing, dimension chain analysis, and ability to independently design pack battery system structure
Ability to independently perform structural strength simulation
Familiarity with battery electrical related professional knowledge, battery selection and testing experience
Proficiency in Solidworks, CATIA, UG and other design software
Ability to read and write in English
