Job Description
A Fixture Development Engineer is responsible for designing, selecting, and optimizing tooling and fixtures for production lines, collaborating with process engineers and suppliers to improve manufacturing processes, primarily in power battery module PACK fixture design.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and select new tooling and fixtures for the production line
- Collaborate with process engineers to integrate fixtures into manufacturing processes
- Review and propose technical solutions for fixtures with suppliers
- Optimize and improve existing tooling and fixtures for the test line
- Manage procurement of equipment fixtures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field
- Major in mechatronics, automation, or mechanical design is preferred
- Familiar with mechanical design and metal processing technology
- More than 1 year of experience in power battery module PACK fixture design
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Pro-e, Solidworks, and other design software
- Understanding of basic knowledge of electric control, pneumatic, hydraulic systems
- Ability to design and select new tooling and fixtures for production lines
- Experience in technical proposal development and technical review of fixtures with suppliers
- Experience in the optimization and improvement of tooling and fixtures for test lines
- Experience in purchase management of equipment fixtures
- Ability to collaborate with process engineers and complete tasks assigned by superiors
