An Equipment Development Engineer is responsible for importing, installing, commissioning, and managing lithium electric equipment, ensuring project schedules are met, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to support equipment development and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Import equipment according to capacity planning requirements
Provide technical input, confirmation, benchmarking, and oversee equipment manufacture, installation, commissioning, acceptance, and delivery
Track, coordinate, and manage the project schedule for new equipment introduction
Follow up on construction and internal installation progress to ensure site meets equipment installation requirements
Collect, organize, and manage engineering data and equipment management files post-import
Develop and maintain relationships with lithium equipment suppliers and manage supplier resources
Requirements
At least 3 years relevant experience in equipment development or related fields.
Bachelor degree or above.
Project experience in importing specific equipment, with familiarity in the basic knowledge and principles of mechanical, electrical, and other automation equipment of lithium electric equipment.
Familiar with project management process and methods, and preferred to have engaged in non-standard automation equipment development projects.
Proficient in CAD drawing and office software, and familiar with equipment design and production.
Good teamwork skills and good communication skills.
Strong sense of responsibility and hard-working attitude.
Experience working in the lithium industry is preferred.
