Job Description
A leadership role focused on developing and managing customer-facing next-generation battery products, integrating research, engineering, and manufacturing to deliver innovative, scalable energy storage solutions using advanced materials and AI-driven discovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead OEM customer programs and serve as the primary technical interface between customer, R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams.
- Develop and manage the technical roadmap for next-generation battery platforms aligned with customer requirements and business strategy.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to testing and validation, ensuring quality and manufacturability.
- Drive process and product optimization, including DOE design and failure analysis, to scale technology from lab to prototype.
- Translate battery concepts into manufacturable solutions suitable for mass production and client delivery.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrochemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Deep experience at a top management level or senior technical capacity in product platforms and leading OEM client projects.
- Strong background in electrochemical engineering, materials chemistry, and interfacial science within the context of next-generation battery platform development.
- Proven experience in technical roadmapping, and managing the critical validation stages from lab prototype customer testing.
- Proficiency in technical problem-solving, including DOE design and failure analysis for scaling processes.
