Job Description

The role involves leading customer-facing product development for next-generation battery technologies, integrating research, engineering, and manufacturing to deliver innovative, scalable, and validated battery solutions across various applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead OEM customer programs and serve as the primary technical interface between customers, R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams.
  • Develop and manage the technical roadmap for next-generation battery platforms aligned with customer requirements and business strategy.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to testing and validation, ensuring quality and manufacturability.
  • Drive process and product optimization efforts, including DOE design and failure analysis, to scale technology from lab to prototype.
  • Translate battery concepts into manufacturable, scalable solutions suitable for mass production and client delivery.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrochemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Deep experience at a top management level or in a senior technical capacity in product platforms and leading OEM client projects.
  • Strong background in electrochemical engineering, materials chemistry, and interfacial science within the context of next-generation battery platform development.
  • Proven experience in technical roadmapping, managing the critical validation stages from lab prototype customer testing, and technical program management.
  • Proficiency in technical problem-solving, including DOE design and failure analysis for scaling processes.
  • Experience leading customer-facing program leadership, serving as the primary technical interface between the customer, R D, manufacturing, and quality teams.
  • Ability to develop and manage the technical roadmap for next-generation battery platforms, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and business strategy.
  • Experience overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to customer testing and validation, ensuring product quality and manufacturability.
  • Experience spearheading process and product optimization efforts, including DOE Design of Experiments and comprehensive failure analysis to scale technology from lab to prototype.
  • Translate next-generation battery concepts into clear, implementable, and manufacturable solutions suitable for mass production and client delivery.
  • Experience in integrating validated battery components into larger system-level innovations.
