Job Description
A senior engineering role responsible for designing and expanding microgrid and power systems for data centers, combining technical expertise with commercial leadership to develop resilient, scalable, and decarbonized energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and engineering of behind-the-meter microgrids, gas-fired power plants, and solar storage systems for data centers
- Drive the expansion of data center power solutions
- Build trusted partnerships with stakeholders
- Ensure the development of decarbonized, resilient, and scalable energy infrastructure for mission-critical facilities
Requirements
- Oversee the design and engineering of behind-the-meter BTM (behind-the-meter) systems, off-grid microgrids, gas-fired power plants, and solar storage systems specifically for hyperscale and colocation data centers.
- Possess strong technical skills related to microgrid systems, power generation, and energy infrastructure design.
- Demonstrate commercial leadership capabilities to drive expansion of data center power solutions.
- Be able to build trusted partnerships with stakeholders and clients in the energy and data center sectors.
- Have the ability to operate in a hybrid work environment based out of Ridgewood, NJ, or at NYC, LA, or Oakland, CA offices.
- Possess a builder’s mindset with the ability to develop and implement scalable energy infrastructure solutions.
- Have experience or capability to contribute to a fast-paced, private equity-backed growth business environment.
