Job Description
The role involves overseeing hyper-scale data center projects from planning and design to construction, requiring expertise in engineering disciplines and strong project management skills to deliver high-quality, reliable energy infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee hyper-scale data center projects from site due diligence through construction administration.
- Lead design teams across disciplines including architecture, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, security, fire protection, ICT, and BMS EPMS.
- Develop and enforce multi-site project and program management plans.
- Host and attend meetings with clients and external stakeholders.
- Manage and communicate project changes proactively.
- Identify problems early and develop creative solutions.
- Develop technical and financial proposals for new and existing data center projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Experience managing the design of data center projects, including colocation and hyper-scale data centers
- Experience with data center design management engineering
- Active or recent leadership in data center and mission-critical trade organizations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment
- Strong leadership skills in team management
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Experience developing and enforcing multi-site project and program management plans
- Experience hosting and attending meetings with clients and external stakeholders
- Ability to proactively manage and communicate change throughout projects
- Ability to identify problems early and develop creative solutions
- Experience developing technical and financial proposals for data center design projects
- Proficiency in designing disciplines including architecture, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, security, fire protection, ICT, and BMS EPMS

Base salary range of $140,000 - $190,000
