Job Description

The Supply Chain Lead at Samsara is responsible for overseeing inbound supply chain operations, coordinating logistics, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support the company's manufacturing and product lifecycle needs in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee inbound supply chain operations including forecast release, purchase request processing, material management, and logistics coordination
Ensure timely shipping to meet supply targets
Identify and address barriers to production capacity and material visibility
Drive Bill of Materials (BOM) ordering, ECO change implementation, and supply optimization with JDM partners
Interface with suppliers and internal teams to resolve production gaps
Collaborate on ECOs with suppliers and teams to mitigate supply gaps
Provide accurate cost projections using detailed cost models
Standardize communication tools, processes, and reports
Implement and promote Samsara’s cultural principles within supply chain activities

Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain execution, including supplier's material, capacity, refurbishment management, or acting as sales operation supply management to Tier 1 customers.
Experience in supply fulfillment with direct supplier management, including CTB report, OPO backlog tracking, and material shortage report as essential requirements.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, operations, or a related field.
Experience consolidating supply elasticity with reporting to leadership level is a bonus.
Strong capability of analytics and reporting to executive level through various format presentation of task simulation or solution presentation.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with a passion for risk mitigation, solution development, analysis, and sensitivity to numbers.
Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
Ability to function well in a high-paced, dynamic, and high-growth environment.
Demonstrated ability to implement programs across a wide range of stakeholder requirements.
Experience with operational systems such as ERP, PLM, ASCP, etc., with a learning experience about these systems.
Ability to establish new processes, with sponsorship experience being a bonus.
Strong analytical and reporting skills suitable for executive-level communication.
Ability to interface with suppliers and internal cross-functional teams to resolve production gaps.
Ability to oversee inbound supply chain operations including forecast release, PR PO processing, material and factory manufacturing management, and logistic coordination.
Responsibility for shipping within hard time frames per supply targets.
Ability to deliver accurate cost projections using elaborate cost models such as EO, Returns, Warranty units.
Strong communication skills to standardize communication tools, processes, and reports.
Ability to work in a hybrid work environment, with flexibility to work 2-3 days per week in the Taipei office, and ability to secure and maintain the legal right to work in the specified location.
