Job Description
This role involves leading the configuration and optimization of Workday Payroll and Time Tracking systems, collaborating with HR and payroll teams to implement process improvements, and supporting system enhancements to ensure efficient global HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the configuration and management of Workday Payroll and Time Tracking modules.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and internal teams to incorporate requirements into Workday and ensure seamless integration.
- Review system changes to identify process improvements and build custom reports for optimization.
- Configure and troubleshoot Workday enhancements across HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Timecards, Absence Leaves, and Payroll.
- Maintain organizational hierarchies, custom objects, and security roles within Workday.
- Partner with People Operations to document business requirements and scope technology fixes and enhancements.
- Support system testing, project planning, and deployment of Workday functionalities.
Requirements
- Experience in US Payroll Workday configuration and time entry required, with at least 2 years of specific experience in Workday Payroll and Time Tracking configuration.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience working for fast-growing, global companies.
- Experience in Workday business process configuration, security, and organization configuration.
- Experience in Workday HCM, Benefits, and Core HCM modules in U.S. and International locations.
- Experience writing and completing test scenarios for system implementations and enhancements.
- Experience supporting project planning, requirements gathering, testing, and launch.
- Strong understanding of Payroll processes and time entry designs.
- Ability to partner with developers in Workday Studio and Integrations, analyze benefits processes, and troubleshoot integrations to benefit vendors.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and prioritization skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload and deliver enhancements or fixes on time without supervision.
- Provide accurate timelines, follow-up, and required documentation for change management.
- Experience with Workday Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, and Core HCM modules.
- Previous payroll processing experience.
- Knowledge of employment compliance and legal best practices.
- Experience working with Jira, Zendesk, and other business applications integrating with Workday.
