Job Description

A Software Engineer role focused on building and scaling an enterprise-grade asset maintenance platform, leveraging technologies like Go, Python, and React to develop features such as APIs, warranty tracking, and AI automation, while collaborating across teams to improve physical operations for various industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor engineers in building an enterprise-grade asset maintenance platform.
  • Drive development of features such as APIs, warranty tracking, workflows, and AI automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and system enhancements.
  • Contribute to the tech stack using languages and frameworks like Go, Python, GraphQL, TypeScript, React, and React Native.
  • Maintain production systems, providing operational support and supervision.
  • Use logs and metrics to troubleshoot bugs and ensure system reliability.
  • Participate in roadmap planning and define technical priorities for the Device Services domain.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
  • 5 years of relevant industry experience in software development, with a proven track record of contributing to complex projects.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage technical discussions and mentor junior engineers.
  • Great team player mentality, enjoying collaborative work with engineers having different areas of focus.
  • At least 3 years of experience on full-stack or product-focused teams, steering efforts to design, build, and maintain scalable and mission-critical SaaS applications.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to technologies such as Go, Python, GraphQL, TypeScript, React, and React Native, even if prior experience with these tools is helpful but not mandatory.
  • Assume ownership in maintaining the production systems managed by the team and provide operational support and supervision when necessary.
  • Utilize logs and metrics for tracking down and investigating bugs, ensuring the robustness and reliability of systems.
  • Participate in roadmap planning sessions, collaborating with product management, design, and engineering teams to define the technical direction and priorities for the Device Services domain.
