Job Description

This role involves leading and managing a team of Mid Market Account Executives to expand Samsara's customer base in the UK market, focusing on building customer relationships, driving sales, and supporting the company's growth in connected operations solutions across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage 7-9 Mid Market Account Executives selling into the UKI market.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop the sales team in outbound prospecting, deal progression, and closing.
  • Assist with deal negotiation and support live deal progression.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Growth, and Account Development teams to ensure quality lead flow.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Finance, and Order Operations to facilitate smooth deal flow.
  • Identify market opportunities and lead initiatives to grow the business in the UK.
  • Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, high-performing sales team.
  • Embed and promote Samsara’s cultural principles within the team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years sales experience
  • At least 2 years experience managing a team (preferred)
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce.com (SFDC) and MEDDIC MEDDPICC sales methodologies
  • Strategic problem solving, project management, interpersonal, and team management skills
  • Strong track record of overachievement with experience in coaching a team on outbounding
  • Experience with a Proof of Concept or Trial sales motion
  • Ability to provide upward feedback
