Job Description
The Sales Director will lead and develop enterprise sales teams, driving the adoption of Samsara's IoT solutions across various industries, and focus on building customer success and long-term growth through managing complex deals and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement coaching and development strategies for Account Executives
- Collaborate with executive team to develop performance metrics
- Coordinate with Field Sales Engineers and support teams to meet performance objectives and customer expectations
- Champion and embed Samsara's cultural principles within the team
- Focus on customer success and building long-term relationships
- Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, high-performing sales team
Requirements
- Previous experience supervising a sales team in Eastern Canada in a management capacity
- Proven track record of ability to train, spearhead, and motivate enterprise sales teams
- Solid understanding of SFDC (Salesforce) and accurate forecasting methodology
- Minimum of 8 years of technology sales experience
- At least 5 years of experience managing a sales team or high overachievement as an individual contributor in Enterprise SaaS sales
