Job Description

The Sales Director will lead and develop enterprise sales teams, driving the adoption of Samsara's IoT solutions across various industries, and focus on building customer success and long-term growth through managing complex deals and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement coaching and development strategies for Account Executives
  • Collaborate with executive team to develop performance metrics
  • Coordinate with Field Sales Engineers and support teams to meet performance objectives and customer expectations
  • Champion and embed Samsara's cultural principles within the team
  • Focus on customer success and building long-term relationships
  • Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, high-performing sales team

Requirements

  • Previous experience supervising a sales team in Eastern Canada in a management capacity
  • Proven track record of ability to train, spearhead, and motivate enterprise sales teams
  • Solid understanding of SFDC (Salesforce) and accurate forecasting methodology
  • Minimum of 8 years of technology sales experience
  • At least 5 years of experience managing a sales team or high overachievement as an individual contributor in Enterprise SaaS sales
