Job Description
This role involves working closely with public sector clients to ensure the successful adoption and ongoing success of Samsara's IoT platform, focusing on improving safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations through strategic customer success management and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure customer success by increasing safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations using Samsara's IoT platform.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions for complex Public Sector challenges.
- Create and manage success plans with customers, outlining objectives, metrics, and timelines, and address barriers to achieving business value.
- Conduct executive business reviews with customer decision makers and Samsara leadership to review past successes and align on future goals.
- Facilitate workshops with customers to understand their operations and recommend workflow improvements.
- Explain Samsara's capabilities to diverse business types and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Mentor and support the development of the Customer Success and Support teams.
- Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles within the team and customer interactions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior Customer Success, account management, or strategic consulting role.
- Experience supporting or working with technical products.
- Enterprise SaaS experience and Government executive engagement preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year institution.
- Solutions-oriented with strong problem solving skills.
- Proven track record of building trust and communicating effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders including executives, Product and Engineering leadership, and day-to-day users of our software.
- Strong priority management skills and high emotional intelligence to handle a demanding position with high internal visibility.
- Passion for going above and beyond the call of duty, taking initiative, and thriving in a fast-paced, change-heavy environment.
- Diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through customer issues.
- Strong bias for action, the ability to think big, with insistence on high standards.
- Experience serving and supporting large-scale solutions for Public Sector organizations.
- Ability to support and support technical products and solutions.
- Thrives in an unstructured, fast-paced, and change-heavy environment.
