Job Description
A sales role focused on bringing IoT solutions to mid-sized customers across various industries, involving prospecting, building relationships, and closing complex deals to help improve operational safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Own customer engagements from prospecting to closing deals
- Conduct outbound prospecting to identify potential customers
- Build and maintain genuine relationships with customers
- Learn and understand the businesses and industries of clients
- Negotiate multi-faceted pricing and manage complex sales processes
- Engage with multiple stakeholders, including executives and CXOs
- Research and expand the sales pipeline through continuous prospecting
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a closing sales role
- At least 1 year of experience in sales focused on new school, government, and/or public sector accounts
- Proven track record of consistent quota achievement
- Experience selling in the public sector mid-market space with medium to large deal sizes
- Experience with high-volume cold calling
- Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC)
- Ability to build genuine relationships with customers and earn their trust over time
- Willingness to learn about businesses where previous knowledge is limited
- Demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to be collaborative with teammates and in the selling process
- Ability to own customer engagements end-to-end, including prospecting, qualification, and closing
- Ability to strategically outbound prospect and engage with potential customers
- Must be located in the US and able to work remotely
- Must be legally authorized to work in the specified work location
