Job Description
The Global Operations Rotational Program at Samsara is an 18-month leadership development experience designed for MBA students, providing rotations across various operational functions to build expertise in supply chain management and contribute to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze tradeoffs of cost, quality, and responsiveness in the supply chain.
- Develop understanding of vendor base and industry trends.
- Adopt negotiation strategies for sourcing and business continuity.
- Build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Understand new product introduction launches and financial impacts.
- Drive cross-functional projects focused on Integrated Business Planning.
- Conduct analytics on process optimization and market intelligence.
- Champion and embed Samsara's cultural principles.
Requirements
- Pursuing an MBA degree with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Finance, Economics or equivalent, with expected graduation in 2025.
- 4 years of prior experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, or supply chain.
- Demonstrated experience and interest in Supply Chain, Planning, and Operations either in previous work experience or coursework projects in their MBA or Master’s degree program.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to distill complex subjects to a wider audience.
- High proficiency with G-Suite products.
- Strong analytical, research, and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail while never losing sight of the big picture.
- A proactive, positive approach to problem-solving while dealing with ambiguity, changing priorities, and business volatility.
- Strong commitment to a career in operations or supply chain.
- Exceptional team player mentality.
