The Canadian Major Account team is working together to help our clients achieve their sustainability, safety and efficiency goals. We are working closely with Canada’s largest employers to make a positive impact on their operations.
• Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting, qualification and trial to close
• Leverage Samsara’s award winning Business Value, Customer Success Management and Leadership teams to effectively close large complex opportunities
• Generate pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting, as well as receive leads from our account development team
• Target Eastern Canada’s largest operational customers
• Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
• 5+ years experience in a senior SaaS sales role
• Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement
• Experience handling and owning large complex deals
• Comfortable in a rapidly changing, high-growth tech environment
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• High comfort closing transactions of up to $1M+ ACV in size
• Experience with building out a new territory and acquiring new high value target accounts
• Thirst for learning
• Ability to relate to clients at all levels of an organization
• Ability to quarterback a large geographically dispersed team
