Job Description

The Engagement Services Manager at Samsara is responsible for promoting and managing the implementation of Samsara's IoT solutions and services, working closely with sales and customers to ensure successful deployment, customer success, and long-term relationships in a fast-growing, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Articulate and sell the value of Samsara Services to prospective and existing enterprise customers
  • Collaborate with Sales team to define and integrate service solutions into proposals
  • Manage and meet services ARR attach quotas and forecast services pipeline
  • Plan and execute services scoping, including proposals, resource planning, and transition knowledge transfer
  • Serve as a trusted advisor during product deployment, change management, and implementation
  • Participate in building and refining Samsara's services methodologies, processes, and collateral

Requirements

  • 7 years of demonstrated experience in positioning Professional Services or Technology Solutions.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with sales, Customer Success Managers (CSMs), and other key partners during implementations.
  • Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate the value, capabilities, and differentiators of complex service solutions using methodologies and service offerings.
  • Strong innovation skills in building services templates, services engagement processes, and services presentations with a builder mentality.
  • Experience executing the Statement of Work (SOW) proposal processes by scoping, producing, and delivering SOWs that meet customers' documented requirements.
  • Ability to articulate relevant customer success stories and metrics that demonstrate value to the customer.
  • A 4-year Bachelor Degree.
  • Specific skills in creating Salesforce (SFDC) reports and dashboards and navigating in SFDC.
