Job Description

This role involves engaging with small to medium-sized customers to sell IoT solutions that enhance operational safety, efficiency, and sustainability across various industries, through a high-volume, transactional sales process focused on building long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own customer engagements from prospecting to closing sales.
  • Generate sales pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up.
  • Target small to medium-sized accounts with 11-30 vehicles.
  • Handle high-volume transactional sales processes.
  • Build and maintain genuine relationships with customers to foster trust.
  • Learn and understand diverse industries and business operations to tailor sales approaches.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a closing sales role.
  • Proven track record of consistent quota achievement.
  • Experience selling in the commercial space with small to medium deal sizes.
  • Experience with high-volume cold calling.
  • Experience in fast-paced, transactional sales environments with high volume demands.
  • Ability to handle and own the entire transactional sales process from prospecting to close.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Willingness to learn about and support industries such as waste management, food distribution, and other physical operations.
  • Ability to generate pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting and manage inbound leads.
  • Target accounts with 11-30 vehicles.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and a collaborative approach with teammates and in the selling process.
  • Ability to build genuine relationships with customers and earn their trust over time.
  • Willingness to put in the effort to learn about businesses where prior knowledge is limited.
  • Ability to work remotely in Canada, with the flexibility to work in-person or in a hybrid model if required by the role.
