The Technical Writer will develop, revise, and manage technical documentation to support Redwood Materials' operations, working with cross-functional teams to ensure clear, standardized, and high-quality content that facilitates process understanding and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Write, revise, and control standards, procedures, and training content
Develop comprehensive documentation and templates for standardization across teams
Manage projects for documentation development and implementation
Collaborate with technical experts and cross-functional teams to translate complex information into clear content
Evaluate existing content and develop innovative improvements
Proofread and edit team-created content
Coordinate with Document Control Administrators and Training Team to distribute and communicate documentation
Requirements
Proven experience as an effective technical writer including but not limited to creating process documentation, work instructions, procedures, and training content.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at a time.
Ability to work in an ambiguous environment without predefined standards.
Degree in engineering, technical writing, or other relevant technical field preferred, or equivalent experience considered.
The position is full-time and located in Sparks McCarran, Nevada.
