Job Description
A Supply Chain Analytics Engineer responsible for developing data-driven solutions to optimize material flows, forecast demand, and improve supply chain efficiency through predictive modeling, machine learning, and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models and heuristics for production planning, inventory optimization, and logistics planning
- Build data pipelines and dashboards to track key supply chain KPIs
- Apply machine learning and statistical methods to identify inefficiencies and optimize costs
- Analyze supplier, transportation, and process data to drive insights for better decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production planning and scheduling
- Partner with engineers and ERP developers to integrate analytics into business systems
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in data science, analytics, or supply chain optimization
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
- Experience with forecasting, optimization, and machine learning techniques
- Experience with linear programming and integer programming
- Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or other visualization tools
- Knowledge of ERP systems and supply chain processes
- Ability to communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to develop predictive models and heuristics for production planning, inventory optimization, and logistics planning
- Ability to build data pipelines and dashboards to track key supply chain KPIs
- Ability to apply machine learning and statistical methods to identify inefficiencies and optimize costs
- Experience analyzing supplier, transportation, and process data to drive insights for better decision-making
- Ability to take ownership of all aspects including communication, strategy, development, and implementation related to supply chain analytics
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to improve production planning and scheduling
- Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes
