Job Description

A Staff Architect at Redwood Materials will lead project execution, design, and construction documentation for sustainable battery recycling facilities, ensuring quality standards and regulatory compliance while supporting the company's circular economy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and produce construction documents and obtain building permits
  • Serve as architect of record for certain projects
  • Participate in project scheduling and cost estimating
  • Ensure project quality, standards, and specifications
  • Coordinate discipline efforts and manage team dynamics
  • Learn and improve design quality through construction observation
  • Drive project execution and ensure adherence to safety and code requirements
  • Develop process improvements to increase design productivity

Requirements

  • Must have the ability to obtain a Nevada Architecture license or be a licensed architect in the state of Nevada
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in architecture or related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit software
  • Construction administration experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure
  • Highly organized with outstanding prioritization skills
