Job Description
Redwood Materials is seeking a Staff Architect to lead infrastructure projects focused on creating a sustainable circular economy for lithium-ion batteries, involving project execution, design, permitting, and construction administration to support recycling and battery material production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce construction documents and obtain building permits
- Serve as architect of record for certain projects
- Ensure project quality, standards, and specifications are met
- Coordinate discipline efforts and manage project scheduling and cost estimating
- Participate in project execution, including construction observation and administration
- Develop process improvement workflows to enhance design productivity
- Ensure code compliance and participate in life safety planning
Requirements
- Must have the ability to obtain a Nevada Architecture license
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in architecture
- Advanced proficiency in Revit software
- Construction administration experience
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Highly organized with outstanding prioritization skills
