Job Description
A Senior Commercial Specialist supporting outbound sales operations, logistics coordination, and customer support within Redwood Materials' battery recycling and materials business, ensuring efficient order execution and delivery in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support outbound commercial activity by preparing, formatting, and tracking bids and maintaining organized records
- Create, manage, and update outbound sales orders, track fulfillment status, and coordinate logistics documentation
- Send and track outbound sample shipments and act as liaison between Product, Sales, Logistics, and Finance to ensure smooth handoffs
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
- 4-6 years working experience, ideally in sales operations, business planning, or logistics
- Experience in commodity, metals mining, recycled materials, or battery materials industry is helpful
- Strong attention to detail able to spot discrepancies, missing data, or conflicting documents
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working in learning new supply chain software such as CRM, ERP, WMS
- Strong communicator able to translate business needs into action and keep stakeholders aligned
- Naturally organized, deadline-driven, and able to juggle multiple priorities
- Ability to perform essential job functions in compliance with ADA, FMLA, and other relevant federal, state, and local regulations, including meeting both qualitative and quantitative productivity standards
- Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance in line with ADA, FMLA, and applicable standards
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety gloves, helmets, and eyewear, or additional PPE when required
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively on the telephone, including listening and speaking
- Ability to work in office setting, manufacturing floor, outdoor job site, or remote work environment
- Required to work weekends, evenings, on-call shifts, or extended hours as needed
- Willingness to travel occasionally or frequently for meetings, site visits, or events
