The Senior BIM VDC Engineer will lead the digital modeling and coordination efforts for large-scale infrastructure projects, supporting sustainable battery manufacturing facilities through detailed BIM management and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
Provide management and design support for detailed and accurate BIM models.
Set the digital delivery strategy for large, fast-moving projects.
Maintain and coordinate large federated building models across multiple disciplines and teams.
Coordinate models produced by design teams, trade contractors, and third-party vendors.
Integrate and align work of layout teams and tool-line owners using BIM for planning and conceptual work.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Architectural, or Mechanical Engineering or 5-8 years of hands-on experience in relevant fields.
Expert knowledge with Revit and Autodesk software.
Experience working with point clouds and laser scanners.
Experience in aerial surveying using drones.
Experience in model automations using Revit API.
Experience leading a small team for rapid technical solution rollout.
Experience interfacing with construction and cost control on quantity takeoffs and alignment between Work Breakdown Structure based cost tracking and BIM parameters.
The position is full-time.
