The Operations Program Manager at Redwood Materials oversees the transition from prototype to mass production of hardware, ensuring process capability, equipment readiness, and cross-functional coordination to improve manufacturing throughput, yield, and reliability for battery materials production.
Key Responsibilities
Lead build readiness and internal ramp execution for hardware manufacturing from prototypes to mass production
Manage cross-functional teams to ensure process capability, stability, and quality at scale
Drive yield improvement, issue resolution, and process validation in manufacturing facilities and with suppliers
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years in program management, CM operations, manufacturing process engineering, supplier industrialization, or technical operations in high-volume hardware manufacturing.
Demonstrated success improving yield, throughput, cycle time, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) in production environments.
Hands-on experience with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Design of Experiments (DOE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), and control plans.
Strong data analysis skills using Excel Sheets, SQL, JMP, Minitab, or Python.
Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
Experience scaling hardware production from lab pilot volume manufacturing to mass production.
Full-time availability and willingness to work in accordance with California pay transparency laws, with a salary range of $122,000 to $162,000 USD, commensurate with experience.
