  • At least 3 years of experience in a lab, manufacturing, or test environment as a technician, engineering tech, or similar role.
  • Experience working with or around high-voltage systems ranging from 400V to 2000VDC and 480VAC to 800VAC, with strong safety discipline including LOTO, PPE, and safe work practices.
  • Strong hands-on skills with mechanical assembly, wiring, sensors, instrumentation, and lab equipment.
  • Comfortable following test procedures, maintaining detailed documentation, and producing clear test summaries.
  • Experience assembling, installing, and maintaining test infrastructure such as fixtures, sensors, actuators, chambers, and power supplies.
  • Ability to operate test equipment safely and effectively, including handling high-voltage systems and lab hardware.
  • Ability to collect, organize, and document test data, observations, and results clearly and consistently.
  • Experience performing basic failure triage and supporting failure analysis through teardown, inspections, and root-cause investigations.
  • Troubleshooting test setups and hardware issues, escalating and collaborating to resolve blockers quickly.
  • Supporting test automation and data logging tools, including running scripts, validating outputs, and contributing small updates as needed, with familiarity with basic scripting or automation tools such as Python being a plus.
  • Ability to support New Product Introduction (NPI) line operations by assisting with product assembly, build readiness, and day-to-day troubleshooting.
  • Creating, updating, and maintaining build documentation, including work instructions, assembly procedures, and change logs.
  • Supporting the management of lab inventory, organization, and power infrastructure.
  • Assembly and validation of high-voltage harnesses and electrical sub-systems, including wiring, terminations, and integration, while ensuring full compliance with electrical safety requirements and site policies.
  • Physical ability to perform essential job functions safely and successfully, including working with small components under a microscope for extended periods, manual dexterity for precision soldering and handling heavy copper assemblies, occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs, and working in challenging environments with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and temperature extremes while protected by PPE.
