The Associate Inventory Control Analyst supports inventory management by maintaining accurate data, analyzing reports, and implementing process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate inventory records in Oracle WMS and support cycle count activities
Create and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and variances
Participate in process improvement projects and recommend enhancements to inventory control processes
Collaborate with management to identify and implement system improvements within Oracle WMS
Assist in drafting and updating inventory control policies and procedures
Work closely with operations, procurement, and warehouse teams to support inventory initiatives
Manage assigned projects independently, prioritizing tasks and proposing solutions
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required, associate degree preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude under pressure.
Experience with Oracle WMS and Tableau preferred.
Ability to perform essential job functions in compliance with ADA, FMLA, and other relevant federal, state, and local regulations, including meeting both qualitative and quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance in line with ADA, FMLA, and applicable standards.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively on the telephone, including listening and speaking.
Physical ability to perform essential job functions in compliance with ADA, FMLA, and other relevant regulations, including meeting productivity standards.
Ability to work in an office setting and on the manufacturing floor.
Extended hours as needed, up to 10% of the time, and occasional or frequent travel for meetings, site visits, or events.
Support inventory management by maintaining accurate inventory records in Oracle WMS, ensuring timely updates for all movements and adjustments.
Assist in flagging high-risk areas through data analysis to focus cycle count activities on the highest impact areas.
Create and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, and present findings to management.
Participate in small-scale process improvement projects by gathering data, evaluating workflows, and recommending enhancements.
Collaborate with management to identify and implement system improvements within Oracle WMS to increase accuracy and efficiency.
Assist in drafting and updating inventory control policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
Work closely with operations, procurement, and warehouse teams to support strategic inventory initiatives and resolve complex issues.
Manage assigned projects or tasks with minimal supervision, exercising judgment in prioritizing work and proposing solutions.
Support continuous learning and ensure adherence to company policies, developing skills in inventory analysis, reporting, and project management.
