Job Description
A Senior Data Engineer supporting the Department of Defense by designing and implementing data solutions to enhance data-driven decision-making and national security initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust data solutions to support data-driven decision-making across the DoD
- Support the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition Sustainment in managing data and technology initiatives
- Advance data management and analytics capabilities to impact national security initiatives and investments
Requirements
- Possess strong experience in designing and implementing robust data solutions supporting data-driven decision-making within a government or defense context.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role involving data management, data integration, and data analytics.
- Demonstrate expertise in building technology-agnostic data solutions that can operate across diverse systems and platforms.
- Possess a thorough understanding of data management and analytics practices relevant to the Department of Defense or similar large-scale government agencies.
- Have the ability to support and enhance data utilization for national security initiatives and investments.
- Be capable of supporting the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition Sustainment (OUSD A S) in data-related projects and initiatives.
- Possess the ability to work in a high-impact environment where data solutions directly influence national security and defense operations.
