Job Description
A Workday Analyst responsible for configuring, optimizing, and supporting the Time Absence and Core HCM modules within the Workday system, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative HR solutions and ensure seamless HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement scalable Workday Time Absence solutions including absence plans, accruals, and eligibility rules.
- Analyze business rules and local regulations to translate them into accurate system configurations.
- Automate workflows, improve user experience, and develop reports and dashboards for Time Absence processes.
- Ensure seamless integration between Time Absence, Core HCM, payroll, and other Workday modules.
- Monitor system performance, resolve issues related to Time Absence, and ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards.
- Participate in Workday releases, assess new features, and recommend adoption strategies.
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and support for Time Absence tools.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated HR processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Workday configuration experience with strong focus on Time Absence including eligibility rules, accruals, absence plans, and time tracking.
- Strong technical expertise in Workday configuration, including business processes, calculated fields, reporting, and integrations.
- Proven ability to gather requirements, analyze diverse business rules, and deliver scalable, compliant solutions.
- Experience in Agile environments and familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow and Jira.
- Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow HR Service Delivery platform, including SLA management, ticket triaging protocols, and HR case handling.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment on diverse, complex issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across HR, Payroll, and IT functions.
- Ability to collaborate regularly with US-based teams and stakeholders, which might require working during late IST hours to ensure smooth coordination and timely delivery of global initiatives.
