Job Description
A Workday Analyst responsible for configuring, supporting, and optimizing the Time Absence and Core HCM modules within the Workday system, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable HR solutions and ensure seamless HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement scalable Workday Time Absence solutions, including absence plans, accruals, and eligibility rules.
- Analyze business rules and local regulations to translate them into accurate Workday configurations.
- Automate workflows, improve user experience, and develop reports and dashboards related to Time Absence.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Time Absence with other HR modules and systems.
- Monitor system performance, resolve issues related to Time Absence, and ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards.
- Participate in Workday releases, assess new features, and recommend adoption strategies.
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and support for Time Absence tools and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Workday configuration experience with strong focus on Time Absence including eligibility rules, accruals, absence plans, and time tracking.
- Strong technical expertise in Workday configuration, including business processes, calculated fields, reporting, and integrations.
- Proven ability to gather requirements, analyze diverse business rules, and deliver scalable, compliant solutions.
- Experience working in Agile environments and using tools such as ServiceNow and Jira.
- Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow HR Service Delivery platform, including SLA management, ticket triaging protocols, and HR case handling.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment on diverse, complex issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across HR, Payroll, and IT functions.
