The role involves configuring and supporting Workday's Time Absence and Core HCM modules, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize HR processes, and ensuring system integration and compliance within a dynamic HR technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and implement scalable Workday Time Absence solutions, including absence plans, accruals, and eligibility rules.
Analyze business rules and local regulations to translate them into accurate Workday configurations.
Automate workflows, improve user experience, and develop reports and dashboards related to Time Absence.
Ensure seamless integration between Time Absence, Core HCM, and other Workday modules.
Monitor system performance, resolve Time Absence-related issues, and ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards.
Participate in Workday releases, assess new features, and recommend adoption strategies.
Partner with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to deliver process improvements and integrations.
Provide end-user training, documentation, and support for Time Absence tools.
Collaborate with ServiceNow for case intake, triaging, SLA management, and issue resolution.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Workday configuration experience with strong focus on Time Absence including eligibility rules, accruals, absence plans, and time tracking.
Strong technical expertise in Workday configuration, including business processes, calculated fields, reporting, and integrations.
Proven ability to gather requirements, analyze diverse business rules, and deliver scalable, compliant solutions.
Experience in Agile environments and familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow and Jira.
Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow HR Service Delivery platform, including SLA management, ticket triaging protocols, and HR case handling.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment on diverse, complex issues.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across HR, Payroll, and IT functions.
