Job Description
This role involves creating and maintaining high-quality technical documentation for storage software products, collaborating with global teams, and supporting product development and release processes to ensure clear communication and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain technical documentation including release notes, user guides, and API documentation.
- Collaborate with global teams to gather feedback and incorporate it into documentation.
- Participate in the product development lifecycle to identify documentation needs and track progress.
- Drive the documentation process from creation to publishing using tools like Jira, Confluence, and CCMS.
- Support release cycles and migrate content for reuse.
- Produce clear, user-centric technical content for diverse audiences and verify code samples.
Requirements
- Six (6) years of experience in technical writing for software products.
- Demonstrated experience writing documentation in CCMS Dita.
- Ability to create content for technical audiences.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and product features.
- Ability to adapt to evolving documentation requirements, such as writing content for last-minute additions of product features and issues to release notes.
- Focus on delivering top-notch quality documents within stipulated timelines.
- Excellent English writing and communication skills.
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate documentation processes and perform quality checks (preferred).
