Job Description
The role involves managing complex software and hardware programs for a high-performance data storage platform, coordinating cross-functional teams from concept to delivery, and ensuring product quality and timely release. It requires technical understanding, strong communication skills, and the ability to drive execution in an ambiguous environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Orchestrate complex software and hardware programs from concept to release.
- Drive program execution by defining schedules, managing dependencies, and making trade-offs.
- Act as the technical hub for programs, identifying risks and mitigating blockers.
- Communicate program status and technical details to stakeholders and executives.
- Lead process improvements to enhance quality, productivity, and time-to-market.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in managing the full lifecycle Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of complex software programs, successfully shipping products to market with a predictable and frequent cadence.
- Ability to create structure and drive execution in ambiguous environments, navigating unknowns, resolving complex dependencies, and holding teams accountable for results.
- Deep technical ability to understand distributed systems, triage technical risks, and facilitate in-depth discussions with engineers without needing to be a software developer.
- Exceptional skills in stakeholder management, influencing cross-functional teams, and articulating a program’s big picture to both technical and executive audiences.
- Proven track record of strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound technical judgment and take ownership of the product experience.
- Work from the Prague office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
