Job Description
The role involves managing complex software and hardware programs for a high-performance data storage platform, coordinating cross-functional teams from concept to delivery, and ensuring product quality and timely release through technical and strategic leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Orchestrate complex software and hardware programs from concept to release.
- Drive program execution by defining schedules, managing dependencies, and making trade-offs to meet business objectives.
- Act as the technical hub for programs, analyzing system dependencies and mitigating release risks.
- Communicate program status and technical details effectively to stakeholders and executives.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality, productivity, and time-to-market.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in managing the full lifecycle SDLC of complex software programs, successfully shipping products to market with a predictable and frequent cadence.
- Strong ability to create structure and drive execution in ambiguous environments, navigating unknowns, resolving complex dependencies, and holding teams accountable for results.
- Deep technical ability to understand distributed systems, triage technical risks, and facilitate in-depth discussions with engineers without needing to be a software developer.
- Exceptional skills in influencing cross-functional teams and articulating a program’s big picture to both technical and executive audiences.
- Proven track record of strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound technical judgment and take ownership of the product experience.
- Work from the Prague office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
