Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for data center storage solutions, from concept to mass production.
Manage hardware and software development, including Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, firmware, and OS components.
Drive successful product delivery through prototype phases: EVT, DVT, PVT, and into high-volume mass production.
Conduct and lead executive-level phase gate reviews to secure approvals and guide product trajectory.
Oversee program budgets, monitor product costs, and manage schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
Coordinate cross-functional teams internally and externally, including engineering, product management, supply chain, and manufacturing partners.
Requirements
Manage the full, complex, end-to-end product development for hardware systems, spanning Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and the integrated software firmware stack.
Proven track record of successfully guiding products through New Product Introduction (NPI) phases, specifically managing Engineering Validation Test (EVT), Design Validation Test (DVT), Production Validation Test (PVT), and Mass Production (MP) in a high-tech data center environment.
Ability to synthesize and communicate complex program information and business strategy to executive leadership, effectively leading decision-making reviews.
Demonstrated skill in program budget management, product cost analysis, and using financial data to influence strategic program direction and scope.
Experience in managing the full, end-to-end product development process for hardware systems, including Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, and software firmware stack.
Experience in leading and delivering storage products through prototype phases including EVT, DVT, PVT, and into high-volume Mass Production (MP) ramp.
Ability to own and orchestrate executive-level phase gate reviews, synthesizing complex program updates into concise, clear presentations to secure approvals and drive critical product trajectory decisions.
Maintain the program’s financial health by meticulously managing budgets, monitoring product costs, and controlling the master build schedules to ensure on-time and in-scope delivery.
