Job Description

A Technical Program Manager at Pure Storage leads engineering projects, manages cross-functional teams, and develops scalable processes to support product development and infrastructure deployment in a data storage environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering projects and develop scalable processes
  • Manage and provide visibility into infrastructure and services roadmap, budget, and headcount
  • Build timelines and integrations for new products
  • Develop and streamline processes, tools, and workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product integration
  • Manage project milestones, schedules, budgets, and risks
  • Report project deliverables and track progress using Jira
  • Plan and forecast parts and assets throughout their lifecycle
  • Coordinate deployment schedules for R&D equipment and infrastructure hardware
  • Facilitate infrastructure shared services projects across multiple business units

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in project management, specifically in data center environments.
  • Extensive experience using Jira for roadmap planning, ticket queue management, and dashboard creation.
  • Relevant education or practical experience demonstrating technical aptitude in technical quantitative fields or related areas.
  • Product management expertise with a strong understanding of product lifecycles and integration strategies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical management teams and maintain superb follow-through.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams, cross-functional groups, and vendors as a team player and creative thinker.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills, with knowledge of product lifecycle management.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities efficiently and quickly surface major issues for cross-team resolution.
  • Experience in building timelines and integrations for new products, developing and driving new processes, and recommending tools or streamlining existing processes.
  • Experience managing technical projects or programs, including developing and managing milestones, schedules, and budgets.
  • Experience managing risks, issues, and developing mitigation strategies among cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with parts ordering, forecasting, and end-to-end asset lifecycle project management.
  • Experience in deployment scheduling for R&D equipment and infrastructure hardware in data centers, including scheduling and facilitation.
  • Experience with infrastructure shared services project management, collaborating across multiple business units.
  • Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, including executives.
  • Ability to work in an in-office environment at the Lehi, UT office in compliance with company policies.
