Job Description
This role involves creating, maintaining, and collaborating on technical documentation for software and hardware products, working closely with engineering teams, and supporting product releases in a fast-paced, global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain release notes, user guides, and API documentation following style guides.
- Drive the documentation process from creation to publishing using tools like Jira, Confluence, and CCMS.
- Collaborate with global teams and incorporate feedback from customers, engineers, and support.
- Produce clear technical content tailored for diverse audiences and verify code samples.
- Support release cycles and migrate content for reuse.
- Explore and learn new technologies and product features to keep documentation current.
- Assist in technical content creation for sales support and customer presentations.
Requirements
- Six (6) years of experience in technical writing for software and hardware products.
- Demonstrated experience writing documentation in CCMS Dita.
- Ability to create content for technical audiences.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and product features.
- Ability to adapt to evolving documentation requirements, including writing content for last-minute additions of product features and issues to release notes.
- Focus on delivering top-notch quality documents within stipulated timelines.
- Excellent English writing and communication skills.
