This role involves defining and managing the network access, security, and cloud connectivity architecture for storage solutions, collaborating with engineering teams to deliver secure, high-performance data services, and driving product strategy and lifecycle in a fast-paced technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
Define the future networking and cloud connectivity architecture for storage solutions.
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for network access, security architecture, and cloud edge connectivity.
Deliver features related to switching, routing, firewalls, VPN, and Zero Trust networking to enhance security and operations.
Drive product delivery from investigation to market success by setting goals, tracking metrics, and leading cross-functional teams.
Prioritize technical trade-offs and guide engineering to optimize performance, stability, and customer experience.
Act as the main point of contact for program status, decisions, and risks, ensuring stakeholder alignment.
Requirements
Deep Technical Acumen in Networking Security with proven expertise with the full network stack, including L2 and L3 protocols, network infrastructure such as DNS and DHCP, network security, and Zero Trust architecture for both managed services and cloud connectivity.
Product Vision Outcome Ownership demonstrated by success as a big picture owner who can set clear goals, drive accountability, and deliver tangible results in a fast-paced technology environment.
Strong understanding of storage protocols including FCP, iSCSI, NVMe, and concepts like network virtualization, ESXi, and Software Defined Networking (SDN) to integrate network architecture effectively with storage platforms.
Exceptional ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams, write detailed technical specifications (PRDs), manage the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and proactively communicate with both technical and non-technical groups.
Experience owning the end-to-end product lifecycle for network access, security architecture, and cloud edge connectivity, translating business objectives into technical product requirements and roadmaps.
Ability to deliver high-impact features related to L2/L3 switching, routing, firewalls, VPN, and Zero Trust networking that simplify operations and enhance security of storage solutions.
Experience driving product delivery from investigation to market success by setting program goals, tracking metrics, and leading cross-functional teams to overcome obstacles.
Ability to articulate and prioritize technical trade-offs, e.g., between FCP, iSCSI, NVMe over Fabrics, and guide engineering to optimize performance, stability, and customer experience in Storage Area Network (SAN) design.
Excellent communication skills to act as the single point of contact for the program, communicating program status, decisions, and risks to executive stakeholders and ensuring alignment across functional groups.
Proven experience in storage and data center knowledge, including understanding of storage protocols such as FCP, iSCSI, NVMe, and concepts like network virtualization, ESXi, and SDN.
