Job Description
The role involves leading and evolving an Attack Surface Management program by integrating asset discovery, vulnerability assessment, secrets detection, and automated remediation to provide a real-time, risk-prioritized security posture across enterprise assets, collaborating with cross-functional teams to reduce organizational risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the Attack Surface Management (ASM) program, integrating asset discovery, vulnerability assessment, secrets detection, and automated remediation.
- Maintain a comprehensive inventory of on-premises, cloud, container, SaaS, and third-party assets with business context.
- Lead deployment, tuning, and operation of discovery scanners across network, cloud, container, and endpoint environments.
- Prioritize vulnerability remediation based on criticality, exploitability, threat intelligence, and business risk.
- Manage secret discovery tools to eliminate hard-coded secrets and collaborate with developers to improve credential hygiene in CI/CD pipelines.
- Coordinate remediation efforts across Security, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams, ensuring SLAs and effective communication.
- Automate vulnerability detection and remediation workflows, including integration with ticketing systems and reporting dashboards.
- Define KPIs, produce executive reports, and track progress on risk reduction and asset coverage.
Requirements
- 8-10 years in cybersecurity with deep focus on vulnerability management, asset discovery, or attack surface management
- Proven experience running enterprise-grade scanners such as Tenable, runZero, or the like
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms AWS, Azure, GCP
- Hands-on experience with containers Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficient in scripting automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell
- Understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems, networking protocols, and hardening techniques
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks PCI, HIPAA, NIST, ISO and how they map to vulnerability remediation
- Good understanding of OWASP, CVSS, and MITRE ATT&CK framework and the software development lifecycle
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive accountability without authority
- Analytical, highly organized, and capable of translating risk into business terms
- Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, agile environments and communicates with clarity at all levels

Salary range: 142,000 - 299,000 USD annually
