Job Description

A Technical Instructor responsible for delivering and developing technical training on storage and networking technologies to employees, partners, and customers, utilizing creative teaching methods and collaborating with content teams to enhance learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver technical training to employees, partners, and customers on storage and networking technologies.
Develop, update, and collaborate on technical courseware and training materials.
Design and facilitate in-person and virtual instructor-led training sessions.
Stay current with product enhancements, industry trends, and new technologies to ensure relevant training content.
Partner with stakeholders and content creators to align learning solutions with development needs.
Analyze feedback and monitor training effectiveness to improve educational offerings.
Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and learners regarding training initiatives.

Requirements

BS degree or equivalent practical experience
Minimum 5 years experience of technical training and or content development experience in storage and or networking topics
Ability to successfully train non-English speaking participants with the help of a translator as needed
Proficiency with Linux OS and Command Line Interface (CLI)
Knowledge of hardware and hardware configuration
Technical understanding of foundational technologies like fibre channel, iSCSI, networking etc.
Experience or working knowledge of technologies such as operating systems Solaris, Linux, Windows, VMware, LANs, WANs, and storage area networks
Expert presentation and facilitation skills including white-boarding and utilizing various facilitation techniques to engage learners
Experience with delivering webinars and virtual instructor-led trainings
Content development skills
Experience architecting lab scenarios
Ability to work independently and collaborate with others with a positive attitude
Ability to deliver technical training in in-person and virtual instructor-led formats
Ability to analyze audience, job tasks, design documents, storyboards, assessment strategies, and learning activities as part of instructional design process
Ability to collect, analyze, and act on feedback to facilitate continuous improvement of education solutions
Ability to monitor and report the effectiveness of education and solutions
Effective communication skills with team members, business partners, and key stakeholders regarding learning initiatives and recommendations
Willingness to work from the Bengaluru office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave
