Build the platforms, processes, and engineering capabilities that enable reliable, data-driven manufacturing and systems testing across the entire product lifecycle. In this key leadership position, you will drive operational excellence across PCBA- and system-level test environments for Everpure products. You will lead a high-performing team and partner directly with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Quality, and Contract Manufacturers to elevate test coverage, accelerate software delivery, and safeguard product quality.
Strategic Roadmap & Execution: Define and execute the systems test enablement strategy, technology roadmap, and operating model to directly align engineering capabilities with core business growth and product priorities.
Team Leadership & Enablement: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team focused on building robust test frameworks, validation automation, test infrastructure, and operational data services.
Platform & Infrastructure Evolution: Own the end-to-end evolution of scalable manufacturing test platforms, optimizing framework capabilities, testbook development, equipment configuration, and factory integration to increase production throughput.
Software Quality & Continuous Delivery: Drive software delivery speed and reliability by establishing robust development workflows, CI/CD validation, release governance, and continuous test software verification before factory deployment.
Data Foundations & Observability: Establish and govern manufacturing and systems test data foundations, driving single-source-of-truth ownership, observability, and actionable operational dashboards.
Requirements
Engineering Leadership: Demonstrated track record of hiring, mentoring, and guiding high-performing software, systems, test, or manufacturing engineering teams.
Platform & Test Automation Mastery: Technical expertise in scaling automated test frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, validation environments, and hardware or systems test platforms.
Operational Data Architecture: Deep understanding of manufacturing test data pipelines, APIs, databases, and data-quality practices that power real-time analytics and factory observability.
Strategic Execution: Proven ability to translate complex, cross-functional operational needs into clear roadmaps, concrete deliverables, and measurable quality outcomes.
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
