• Design, build, and maintain platform services and automation used by internal engineering teams.
• Contribute to IDP, APIs, dashboards, and supporting data models.
• Improve testbed lifecycle management, lease enforcement, and service integrations for on-demand infrastructure use cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable, reliable, and secure platform solutions.
• Automate and optimize infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and operational workflows.
• Identify bottlenecks, bugs, and architectural gaps, and drive robust fixes that improve system behavior and user trust.
• Ensure code quality through design reviews, code reviews, and comprehensive testing.
• Create documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational clarity so systems are easier for others to understand and extend.
• 8+ Years of experience in software engineering fundamentals and experience building backend or platform systems.
• Experience with Linux systems, automation, and production-grade debugging.
• Experience with Go and scripting for infrastructure or platform automation.
• Experience with APIs, service integrations, and workflow-based systems.
• Familiarity with VM lifecycle management, cloud or virtualization platforms, and infrastructure orchestration. Experience with OpenStack or similar systems is highly valuable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in ambiguous areas.
• Ability to work across teams and turn operational pain points into reliable platform improvements.
• Experience building internal platforms, developer productivity tools, or infrastructure services.
• Experience with observability, dashboards, or engineering-facing operational tooling.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, containerized systems, or fleet-scale infrastructure management.
• Experience contributing to large-scale distributed systems or open source ecosystems.
• Experience improving service reliability, governance, and lifecycle control for shared infrastructure.
• Enjoy building platforms that make other engineers faster and more effective.
• Like solving practical infrastructure and workflow problems.
• Can move comfortably between coding, debugging, design, and operational thinking.
