A Senior Solutions Engineer specializing in virtualization and hybrid cloud infrastructure, responsible for designing, implementing, and automating enterprise solutions across on-premise and public cloud environments using technologies like Kubernetes, VMware, Nutanix, AWS, and Azure.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain hybrid cloud infrastructure including on-premise systems and public cloud integrations
Lead the architecture and implementation of virtualization and containerization solutions
Manage the full lifecycle of Kubernetes clusters across on-premise and cloud environments
Automate infrastructure workflows using scripting and APIs to improve operational efficiency
Integrate and optimize public cloud services with on-premise infrastructure for seamless hybrid cloud operations
Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure the reliability and performance of infrastructure components
Requirements
Deep, hands-on expertise with mainstream server technologies, network interconnects, and expert-level proficiency in VMware vSphere vCenter, Nutanix AHV Prism, or Hyper-V.
Proven, practical experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting production Kubernetes clusters, with solid command of container runtimes Docker and containerd, and application deployment methods Helm charts.
Strong knowledge of core services and architecture in at least one major public cloud platform, such as AWS (including EC2, S3, VPC) or Azure (including VMs, Storage Accounts, VNets), and demonstrated ability to design and support hybrid cloud solutions.
Relevant experience using REST APIs for system integration and strong proficiency in at least one modern scripting language such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash to automate complex workflows.
Solid understanding of advanced virtual networking concepts including VLANs, DVS, and core networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, along with familiarity with Identity and Access Management concepts including Active Directory, SSO, and MFA.
Experience in designing, configuring, and maintaining on-premise infrastructure including Cisco UCS servers, Fabric Interconnects, and virtualization platforms, ensuring high availability and performance.
Ability to lead the design, configuration, and maintenance of hybrid cloud infrastructure, including integrating on-premise platforms with AWS or Azure core services for compute, storage, and networking, and supporting workload migration and cost optimization.
Physical presence and work from the Bangalore office in accordance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
