Job Description
A security-minded software engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security features for high-performance data storage systems, primarily working on the FlashArray product line and collaborating with a team to enhance system security and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement algorithms and technologies for high-performance, reliable systems
- Own and deliver FlashArray product security features from concept to deployment
- Analyze and resolve complex security and system-related problems
- Collaborate with team members to develop innovative solutions
- Contribute to making the FlashArray more secure
Requirements
- Experience working with a systems programming language such as C, Java, Python, or similar.
- A natural curiosity, demonstrated design sensibility, and enthusiasm for working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Hands-on experience in any systems software domain, which may include distributed systems, operating systems, Linux kernel, database internals, hypervisors, containers, compiler optimization, or related areas.
- Experience with security technologies such as encryption, network security, or application security is considered a strong advantage; however, candidates without this background are still encouraged to apply if otherwise qualified.
- Willingness and ability to work in an open office environment.
- Ability to work from the Prague office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
