Job Description
A software engineer role focused on designing and developing developer productivity tools, automation pipelines, and CI/CD frameworks to enhance testing, infrastructure deployment, and overall DevOps processes within a cutting-edge data storage company.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop developer productivity tools and services for DevOps practices
- Automate test infrastructure, code merge pipelines, and infrastructure deployment
- Build and optimize CI/CD frameworks and pipelines
- Develop analytics tools to extract insights from big data
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve test infrastructure and processes
- Scale and automate processes for test-driven development and infrastructure deployment
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and participate in design and code reviews
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues within development and test environments
Requirements
- Years of software development experience, preferably in Python, Go, Rust, and or other scripting languages.
- A strong focus on developing extensible, testable, and maintainable software.
- Experience in designing and architecting software from the ground up.
- Experience in code review, design reviews, and leading a team technically while debugging and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of test frameworks, continuous integration experience, and ability to work independently in cross-functional teams.
- Willingness and ability to work in an open office, team environment.
- Working knowledge of test frameworks like Pytest, JUnit, Nose, and continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Gerrit, GitLab.
- Working knowledge of containers and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of datacenter operations such as infrastructure management and monitoring.
