Job Description
A Senior Test Engineer in Service Logistics responsible for developing and maintaining automated test solutions, analyzing hardware failure data, and collaborating across teams to ensure the quality and reliability of enterprise storage systems throughout the repair and qualification process.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, port, and maintain automated Python test scripts for diagnosing returned enterprise storage controllers
- Establish standardized test procedures and flow sequencing to identify hardware failures and reduce material waste
- Serve as the technical liaison between Service Logistics, Hardware Design, Quality, and vendors to resolve test discrepancies
- Analyze operational datasets to generate repair metrics and identify root causes of hardware failures
Requirements
- Three (3) years of experience in manufacturing test, repair operations, or service logistics, preferably with enterprise storage or server hardware.
- Advanced capability in system-level hardware debugging and a proven background in manufacturing test environments, server enterprise storage hardware architecture, or electronics repair operations.
- Proficiency in writing, debugging, and maintaining test automation code using Python within a collaborative, Git-based version control workflow.
- Mastery in manipulating large operational or hardware datasets to draw clear, root-cause conclusions and present technical findings clearly to cross-functional engineering and supply chain leadership.
- Strong communication and influence skills necessary to guide external partner technicians, collaborate with design engineers, and align operational teams around quality metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
- Ability and willingness to work primarily on-site at the Santa Clara office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.

Salary range: 126,000 - 189,000 USD annually
