Job Description

A Senior Technical Program Manager responsible for leading end-to-end software release lifecycle, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing technical and strategic aspects of storage product development, and ensuring timely, high-quality deployment in a dynamic, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the overall release plan, including scope, milestones, and dependencies
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely deployment, quality, and risk mitigation
  • Manage multiple concurrent workstreams involving stakeholders across product, engineering, QA, and security
  • Lead bug scrubs, triage critical issues, and define merging criteria for release branches
  • Drive product lifecycle exit reviews, define exit criteria, and ensure approval processes
  • Identify critical paths, bottlenecks, and risks; facilitate technical decision-making and conflict resolution
  • Manage Capex planning and ensure budget adherence for releases

Requirements

  • 7 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager (TPM), specifically driving complex, feature-rich software programs.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Proven expertise managing the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from initial investigation and design to execution and post-market customer feedback.
  • Technical fluency with the ability to speak engineer and understand high-level architecture, participate meaningfully in Git merge discussions, and engage in vendor partner roadmap optimizations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to report status to the C-suite and maintain the technical depth needed to drive triage meetings with senior developers.
  • Experience owning end-to-end release ownership, including managing release plans, scope, milestones, dependencies, and being the primary point of contact for release lines across Product, Engineering, QA, and Security.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams involving cross-functional stakeholders and ensuring alignment of technical architecture with execution.
  • Experience leading release integrity activities such as monitoring release branch health metrics, leading bug scrubs, triaging critical issues, and defining criteria for merging new payloads using Git-based workflows.
  • Experience driving operational excellence through defining exit criteria, ensuring phase exit requirements are met, and formally driving approvals during Product Lifecycle phases 0-3.
  • Ability to identify critical paths, bottlenecks, and risks early, facilitate technical decision-making, and resolve conflicts across teams to maintain project momentum.
  • Experience in financial resource stewardship, including Capex planning and ensuring spend is within bounds through accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting.
  • Willingness to work primarily in an in-office environment at the Santa Clara office, in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
