Job Description
This role involves designing and improving advanced all-flash storage solutions, focusing on software development, automation, and cloud architecture, primarily using programming languages like Python and AWS services, to enhance data storage systems and customer control.
Key Responsibilities
- Redesign components to eliminate bottlenecks and improve robustness
- Develop testable designs with a focus on automation
- Own and deliver software components and features
- Implement improvements and new ideas in the storage solution
- Utilize programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, and develop REST/gRPC services
- Work with cloud architecture and deployment on AWS, including EC2, RDS, and CloudWatch
- Participate in CI/CD processes using Jenkins and Spinnaker
- Ensure observability and monitoring through Datadog
Requirements
- Experience in designing and developing components that have become bottlenecks in infrastructure, with a focus on testable design and robustness.
- Proficiency in automation practices related to software development and deployment.
- Ownership of delivered components and the ability to introduce ideas for improvements.
- Fluency in at least one programming language, preferably Python.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities across both software and deployment stacks.
- Knowledge of application system design.
- Ability to learn, adopt, and improve new technologies, languages, domains, and platforms.
- Self-motivation and the ability to serve as the technical lead on projects.
- Experience with AWS cloud architecture and deployment.
- Work from the Prague office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
