Job Description
This role involves designing and improving advanced all-flash storage solutions, focusing on software development, automation, and cloud deployment, with opportunities to lead projects and innovate within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Redesign components to eliminate bottlenecks and improve performance
- Focus on testable design and automation of components
- Ensure robustness and maintain ownership of delivered solutions
- Implement improvements and innovative ideas in system design
- Develop and maintain software using Python, Go, Java, REST, and gRPC services
- Manage cloud infrastructure and deployment on AWS, including EC2, RDS, and CloudWatch
- Implement observability and monitoring in Datadog
- Collaborate with teams to improve system architecture and deployment processes
Requirements
- Experience in designing and implementing components that have become bottlenecks in infrastructure, with a focus on testable design and robustness.
- Proficiency in automation of software and infrastructure processes.
- Ownership of delivered components and the ability to introduce ideas for improvement.
- Fluency in at least one programming language, preferably Python.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities across both software and deployment stacks.
- Knowledge of application system design.
- Ability to learn, adopt, and improve upon existing systems and processes.
- Self-motivation and the ability to serve as the technical lead on projects.
- Experience with cloud architecture and deployment on AWS, including services such as EC2, RDS, CloudWatch.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Spinnaker.
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog.
- In-office work from the Prague office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
- Strong communication skills and a sense of ownership.
