A strategic role focused on developing and executing go-to-market strategies, messaging, and sales enablement for Pure Storage's Public Sector solutions, aimed at government, education, and public safety organizations to drive market leadership and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Define and articulate the value proposition for the Public Sector market
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in government, education, and public safety sectors
Develop go-to-market strategies, including segmentation, messaging, and sales enablement plans for the Public Sector
Create compelling content such as solution briefs, whitepapers, presentations, and case studies tailored to Public Sector audiences
Equip sales teams with knowledge, tools, and resources to effectively sell to Public Sector customers
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop demos and solution architectures specific to Public Sector needs
Represent Pure Storage at industry events and customer engagements focused on the Public Sector
Monitor and analyze competitive activities within the Public Sector to develop differentiation strategies
Requirements
Seven (7) years of product marketing experience, with a strong focus on enterprise software or hardware solutions.
Proven experience in the Public Sector market, including Federal, State, Local, Education, understanding its unique procurement processes, regulatory environments, and solution requirements.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and concise messaging for diverse audiences.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies and compelling narratives.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
A collaborative spirit and proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product management, and corporate marketing teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
MBA preferred.
